- Unity game and original visual and audio assets
The challenge
I used the familiar Flappy Bird format as a starting point for a game with its own setting and gameplay additions. The player controls a fly navigating through carnivorous plants.
Building the game’s identity
I created all the assets myself, including the pixel sprites, animations, soundtrack and sound effects. The fly and plant obstacles establish the game’s theme, with the visuals and audio developed as parts of the same experience.

Adding to the gameplay
Nectar pickups give the player bonus points. They usually award five points, with a small chance of awarding ten or twenty. As the score increases, the game becomes faster, making the run progressively more demanding.

The outcome
Fly Trapped combines a simple side-scrolling game with original artwork and audio. The gameplay recording shows the movement, scoring and increasing pace together with the assets I created.
